  Accuracy Testing Gasoline Range Organic Hydrocarbons in Water

 

» Water samples were accurately measured on the UVF-3100 analyzer, calibrated to Sitelab's GRO calibration kit. 

» The certified spiked concentration was 3.47 mg/L.  Sitelab's GRO result was 3.33 mg/L.

» Results below are compared to the GRO in water concentrations reported by 83 participating laboratories using GC-FID, GC-PID, GC-MS instrumentation.

» Examples of laboratory GRO methods used in this study: U.S. EPA 8015, 8015B, 8015M, 8020, 8260B, California LUFT, Maine 4.2.17, NWTPH-Gx and IDNR OA-1.
